Taken by Colin on 17th October on the road that leads west through Glen Garry to Kinloch Hourn. He saw plenty of red deer and said that stags were roaring from the hills.
Will do! Thank you, Dave. A beautiful place. He had gone to look for pine martens – didn’t see any, but didn’t mind too much with such fabulous scenery!

That is a superb shot – Scotland is stunning, one of my favorite countries. Fortunately I visit quite a lot 🙂

Thank you! The colours seem to be particularly golden this year. We’re very lucky to live in such a beautiful place.

Green hillsides are beautiful, but so are golden ones. Beautiful photo!

The colours are so beautiful at the moment, and the berries are particularly brilliant. Hope they last just a little bit longer!

It is a wonderful time of year Jo, the air is always so fresh and crisp, but it still isn’t so cold that you need to wear a coat 🙂

Exactly – although a bit chilly this morning. Long may it last!

I’m listening to Braveheart soundtrack right now – goes nice with Colin’s picture – makes me feel like I am really over in you part of the world.

Wonderful! I also love Mark Knopfler’s ‘Screenplaying’ which is perfect for dreaming of the west coast and islands.

I’ll find it!
