Now that summer has arrived in Scotland (a welcome surprise!) I’ve chosen another in my water-themed photo series, with a refreshingly cool feel:Β sunlight dappling the rocks in a burn on the Isle of Lismore.

Lovely. We’re still lurking on the edges of winter!

I’ve heard about the flooding, Viv, hope you are all dry and safe! We’re well into summer by the feel of it – very hot at the moment.

Brrr! I’m jealous. It’s not wet here, but very chilly.
Pat
Beautiful, Jo! Our summer started early. Looks like a hot one.

Thanks, Pat! Ours too – the end of May turned hot all of a sudden, and it doesn’t look like going away for a while.

Yes unfortunately we did not bring the nice weather home with us, but at least we had some while we were in Scotland. The photo looks like turtles, lovely effect π

I love the turtles idea! π Sorry you haven’t got good weather, Lynne! We’re lucky for a change.

Thanks Jo, at least its stopped rain now and it could be worse like poor old Paris. The photo would make a lovely screen saver π
Jo Woolf
Very true, Lynne, it would make a fab screen saver or page banner! I am so sorry for the people in Paris and elsewhere. I hope that this mad weather calms down soon.
