Water has endless beauty, so I thought it would make a great subject for a new photo-series.
My first choice is this lovely image of dripping birch branches in the woods around Bracklinn Falls near Callander.Β Β A photo of the falls themselves is lined up to appear soon – and they were spectacular, thundering down through the gorge after a few days of torrential rain.

Wish it was here, has stopped raining, but just so wet, damp and horrible, never mind π

Hope it brightens up, Lynne!

Thank you! Taken during a downpour. But the falls were amazing!

There is something quite magical about raindrops hanging off the leaves of a tree, I think it’s the feeling of everything being rejuvenated after a shower of rain π

Yes, and such a fresh feeling of the earth as it drinks it in! There is still magic in rain, no matter how much we get of it! π

That’s so true Jo, we tend to moan far too much about the rain, but it is essential to all of us, and as your photo shows, can be quite beautiful too π
