Happy New Year! We are enjoying our new Hazel Tree calendar, with the stunning photo of Kilchurn Castle to get us off to a good start.

Thank you, I’m so glad! Yes, Kilchurn is just so photogenic in almost any weather. I’m pining for Argyll -haven’t been over there for way too long. A very Happy New Year to you all, as well! ๐

Ha Ha if only I could climb the steps ๐ Love gates ways ๐

Yes, I know! I have no idea where it leads. I always wondered if it had anything to do with the legend of the Fairy Flag!

I thought I had seen the photo before, just read your fairy flag posting again. It would be nice to think of it as the gateway to the fairy dwelling, maybe they built it afterwards to mark the spot ๐
Jo Woolf
That would be a lovely thought! ๐
Packy
That is so inviting!

Yes, isn’t it? ๐ It looks well-worn and then disused over time. What could be better?!

Lovely – and coincidentally, I am just about to publish my own magical gateway. Great minds and all that!
Jo Woolf
Haha, thank you, and I will look forward to your own magical gateway! ๐
