I don’t know the exact date, but some time in mid-July Purdey will celebrate her second birthday. Ā We brought her back from her birthplace in Blairgowrie around the end of August 2010, and she has purred, chewed, played, bitten and squirmed her way into our hearts since then.
Happy birthday, Purdey!

Happy Birthday Purdey the Blairgowrie cat! What a great little slideshow, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many excellent pictures of one cat. I especially like the banister shots and the one of her peeking through the uprights. She’s such a wee character.

Thank you, Lorna! She is definitely a character. Currently biting my ankles so I will chase her around in a game of ‘tag’.

This is one terrific series documenting her life! Love how she helps with the cooking and brings things from the garden, helps with writing, takes care of pest control, makes sure you follow her up the stairs, has learned how to use the tube, and gives great examples of how to chill.

Now that you mention it, she does provide a very useful service, and is extremely well trained! I will mention this to Colin next time she chews his brush or pulls at the carpet outside his studio! I love that she has ‘learned how to use the tube’. š Sadly, she no longer fits in it, although she tries!

Your environment provides a richness that Purdey obviously relishes. I love the shot of her attempting to bat at the pheasant feather as she is delicately poised on a stair railing or something similar.
She is a delight and definitely gets a big “awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww” from me.
Jazz sends his warm wishes for a happy birthday from “down under”,
asleep in a warmed room, on a duvet, on the couch:-))

Thank you, Lyn, and also to Jazz who does sound a very chilled-out dude!

Jazz says thank you for the compliment Jo. He is a mature gent now and given the freezing winter we are having here says being warm and comfortable is the best way to live through it!

What a cute little kitty. Happy birthday, Purdey!
Looks somewhat like our Mr. Pickwick [http://tinyurl.com/89u9gl4].
